Sexy star Pamela Anderson is building her own eco-friendly hotel in the Arab city of Abu Dhabi.The former Baywatch television icon fell for the capital of the United Arab Emirates during a recent trip there with the Make a Wish Foundation charity. And she was persuaded into becoming a hotelier by the royal family there. She reveals, "I’m building a hotel there. It’s environmentally friendly. I went there with the Make a Wish Foundation and met some great people there, and the royal family was really friendly." And the environmentally-conscious star insists the hotel is kind to the earth: "It’s built with no fossil fuel at all….in Abu Dhabi - where they have all that oil."

BRITNEY SPEARS DAD UNDER CONTROL

Toxic Britney Spears will remain under the conservatorship of her dad Jamie until the end of this year, a California court ha s ruled.The singer was placed in her father’s care last February, following her hospitalization in January for an alleged bipolar disorder. According to the new court ruling, Spears’ estate and finances will remain under Jamie’s control until December 31st. Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz confirmed after todays hearing: "Ms. Spears is reluctantly agreeing to extend the temporary (conservatorship)." Britney has enjoyed a string of personal successes since her father was awarded control over his troubled daughter’s estate - including extended access to her sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, 17 months. Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan has also praised Jamie’s involvement in the case, insisting the reunion "couldn’t have happened without" his assistance. Kaplan added of his positive influence on the singer: "We’re just very positive about it. Having her dad stabilizing everything is a good thing." A status hearing has been set for October 28th.

FBI SEIZED ANND HATHAWAY'S DIARIES

FBI agents have reportedly seized personal diaries belonging to Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway in relation to her ex-boyfriend's pending fraud case.The talented star is said to have broken up with Raffaello Follieri sometime last month, just before he was arrested on suspicion of unscrupulous business dealings. Follieri has been charged with a dozen counts of federal wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering and will remain in jail until he can post $21 million bail. Now FBI agents have reportedly raided Follieri's luxury New York City apartment, which is located in Donald Trump's exclusive Trump Tower, seizing a variety of his personal possessions, including Hathaway's private diaries, according to the New York Daily News. Officers are also reported to have taken an assortment of documents, watches and personal photos of Follieri and Hathaway.

WINEHOUSE HUSBAND IS SENTENCED

Rehab singer Amy Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil has been ordered to serve a further 18 months in jail after a judge handed him a 27-month sentence in relation to a June 2006 attack on a British bar landlord. Fielder-Civil was sentenced yesterday at London's Snaresbrook Crown Court after pleading guilty to causing grievous bodily harm to James King. He had also admitted conspiracy to pervert the course of justice by attempting to bribe King into withdrawing his testimony.The 26-year-old, who married Winehouse last year, has been held on remand at London's Pentonville Prison since November, and the time he has already served will count towards his sentence. Before the ruling was announced, Fielder-Civil's lawyer Jeremy Dein QC appealed to Judge David Radford to suspend his client's sentence, or sentence him to the nine months he has already spent behind bars. He told the court Fielder-Civil "was of exemplary good character," adding, "This has been a nightmare scenario, not just for him but for his wife and his family." However, the plea was dismissed by Radford, who responded, "No previous convictions rather than exemplary good character, if what I read about him and the use of drugs is true." He added that Fielder-Civil had behaved in a "gratuitous, cowardly and disgraceful" manner. Fielder-Civil was supported in court by his mother Georgette; Winehouse was not present for her husband's sentencing, reports Britain's Sky News.

POLICE SUBMIT JOSH BROLIN VIDEO TAPE

Police officers who arrested Hollywood actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright have submitted a video of the alleged bar brawl in Louisiana to legal officials for review. Cast and crew of Oliver Stone's forthcoming George Bush biopic "W" were celebrating its finish on Saturday when they allegedly got involved in a fight between revelers at the Stray Cat bar in Shreveport. Brolin, Wright and five other crew members were arrested by the police. Chief Henry Whitehorn has since submitted video footage of the alleged incident to the city prosecutor's office, which will decide whether to proceed with the charges. Whitehorn says the footage has come from patrol car cameras and audio from officers' microphones, however he would not elaborate on the content. Wright and Brolin were arrested at 2 a.m. after they allegedly tried to impede local police officers who were breaking up a brawl.The pair received misdemeanor charges for interfering with police and posted a $334 cash bond the same night.They are all due back in court on December 2.

Rehab singer Amy Winehouse's dad Mitch, has been struck down by a mystery illness and is facing an long wait to be diagnosed. He was taken sick last week after taking time out from helping his troubled daughter deal with her own issues and visited a doctor last Thursday to find out the cause of his not feeling well. The horrible stress of his daughter’s crazy lifestyle has caused him to suffer panic attacks, leading him to collapse at his London home last week, according to U.K. media reports. Winehouse, who spoke out about his daughter’s problems to U.K.’s Sky news over the weekend, tells the British newspaper The Sun, "I’m awaiting the results of tests. I’m going away for a few days and we will see what happens after that." But a friend of the singer’s father says, "Mitch isn’t well. He has been taking a lot on and has been dedicating himself to trying to improve Amy’s health. But his own health has suffered as a result."He has been having stress-related panic attacks and collapsed at home last week. The doctor did some tests and told him he needed to take time out or he was seriously risking his own well-being. Amy is devastated and told him to get away and relax. "She told him not to worry about her, but that is easier said than done."

New Mom and Dad Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are planning a trip to Australia, so her husbands mother can meet their new baby daughter Sunday Rose. The little tot was born in a Nashville, Tennessee hospital on Monday morning. Although Kidman’s mother Janelle and sister Antonia both travelled from Sydney, Australia, to welcome the beautiful baby, Urban’s mom Marienne was unable to leave her home in Queensland, Australia for the birth. So the proud parents are planning to fly to Australia later this month to enable the rest of the family to meet Sunday Rose. Marienne Urban says, "He (Keith) called us and said the baby had arrived safely and everybody was really well, and we were totally thrilled. "They were very proud. You could hear it in his voice - it was just great. "(They will be visiting Australia) possibly at the end of this month. I believe they may be coming back at the end of the month."

TIM MCGRAW SPEAKS ON ROWDY FAN

Country singing star Tim McGraw is speaking out about his attack on a rowdy fan at a show in Washington last week. McGraw has downplayed the incident, during which he helped security staff eject an unruly reveller at a concert in the town of Auburn. He says, "I was just trying to keep peace and the security guys just couldn’t get there in time." McGraw took action after he spotted the man assault a woman in the audience. The incident made headlines last week when footage of it surfaced online on several sites. McGraw halted his performance of Indian Outlaw to yell for help, screaming, "Get rid of this guy! Security!" McGraw’s spokeswoman has since revealed the "overly aggressive fan" attacked a female fan, and Tim witnessed the incident.
She says, "Tim called for security, but when they could not respond quick enough, Tim and several crew members removed the fan from the audience." The "unruly" fan, Marcus Nirschl, 30, insists he didn’t deserve McGraw’s wrath. He explains, "I was getting shoved up against some empty seats, and I may have pushed some people when I was trying to get my balance… but I didn’t hit nobody. "I’m the nicest guy you’ll ever meet." Other fans at the show have disputed his claims.

The singing star has been forced to scrap his summer shows in the states after being denied a U.S. visa due to a pending legal wrangle. SPENCER PRATT SAYS SORRY TO OLSEN

Reality television star Spencer Pratt is apologizing to Olsen Twin Mary Kate Olsen for calling her the "less cute (Olsen) twin," after she joked about his bad temper during a television appearance. Olsen upset The Hills star when she recalled high school memories of Pratt during a recent appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, revealing he was a star soccer player who often flew into a rage on the pitch. Pratt immediately proved her right by attacking Olsen all over the media. But now he is admitting he let his emotions get the better of him: "I apologize for getting caught up in trash talking, but she brought up an emotional subject when she mentioned the soccer stuff." Pratt tells Us Weekly magazine he has nothing but the utmost respect for his old school pal: "I’m secretly jealous of her. I want my face on a lunchbox, too."

Pop singing icon Madonna's long friendship with comic Sandra Bernhard took an unfunny turn after the comedienne launched into a bitter rant against the superstar during a recent stand-up routine. Sandra and the pop star were very close friends throughout the 1980s and Bernhard once famously joked she had slept with the singer and her first husband, bad boy Sean Penn. But, in a huge tirade during a stand-up routine in Toronto, Canada, Bernhard turned against pal Madonna when a fan heckled her from the audience, inquiring about the state of the couples friendship. The 53-year-old comedienne quickly quipped she no longer considers herself a friend to the pop star. Toronto columnist Shinan Govani tells the New York Post, "She (Bernhard) descended into this mad, dark, five-minute freestyle, where she mercilessly mocked the Queen of Pop by repeatedly chanting, ‘We Only Got Four Minutes to Save the World,’ (and) at one point screamed, ‘My chicken is raw!’ After all that, she paused poignantly and asked, deadpan: ‘Does that answer your question?’" Govani also adds Bernhard had a few words for the star’s new famous friends. She adds in her own column for Toronto Life: "Sandra began to crap on all the celebrities who like to brag that they ‘work out three hours a day, like Madonna,’ she said, ‘like Gwyneth Paltrow.’"
